Virtual NCPH 2023: “To Be Continued.”

“To Be Continued.”

We know that some of you were not be able to join us in Atlanta this April for a variety of reasons. Conferences–or at least the NCPH conference–have changed for good, and virtual conferences aren’t going anywhere. While we don’t have the staff capacity to conduct a hybrid conference (with in-person and virtual content happening simultaneously), our follow-up virtual conference is scheduled for October 4-6, 2023.

We’re thinking of it as “To Be Continued:” an opportunity to check in with folks who came to Atlanta and pick up on vital conversations we had there, and bring public historians who couldn’t make the in-person trip into the fold. There will be some brand new content best-suited to virtual spaces, and some follow-up sessions based around key themes that emerged at the in-person event. In keeping with the “To Be Determined” theme of the in-person conference, we want to be adaptable and nimble enough to address the field’s most important issues and responsive to the needs of attendees.
