- American Historical Association members remember to vote in the 2023 election by July 15, 2023
- The Society of American Archivists’ 2023 Section Election Ballots are open through July 17, 2023
- REPAIR has launched their website, Putting Disability History on the Map, that highlights around twenty place-based disability histories and provides resources for teaching and learning about disability history

- The Maryland Historical Trust is accepting applications for the African American Heritage Preservation Program, due July 17, 2023
- The Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference is accepting submissions for the Arline Custer Memorial Award, due July 31, 2023
- The Lepage Center at Villanova University is accepting proposals for its “Cities in Historical Perspective” grants, due September 3, 2023
- American Council of Learned Societies announces 2023-2024 fellowships and grants, with applications due in September and October 2023
- The Dan David Prize is accepting nominations through October 11, 2023

- The Society of American Archivists and Council of State Archivists will host their joint conference, “Archives*Records 2023,” hybrid and in Washington, DC, US, July 26-29, 2023
- Historical Perspectives call for abstracts from postgraduates for their annual Twitter Conference to be held August 14-15, 2023 (abstracts due July 28, 2023)
- The American Association for State and Local History opens registration for their annual conference, “I, Too, Am America,” in Boise, Idaho, US, September 6-9, 2023 (early bird registration available through July 28, 2023)
